One provider, fibre everywhere
Monaco Telecom is the only operator of fixed lines and home internet in the Principality. French providers cannot connect a Monaco address, so there is nothing to compare between companies — only between Monaco Telecom's plans.
The network is fully fibre. Monaco Telecom announced 100% fibre coverage in April 2023 (buildings under renovation aside) and switched off the copper network in three stages: residential internet in December 2023, business internet in July 2024 and fixed telephone lines in December 2024. ADSL no longer exists in Monaco, and a fixed phone line now runs over the fibre box.

Every plan includes ten 10 GB mailboxes and Monaco Care Safety, the operator's security service. Activation is currently free. The offers are reserved for private customers living in Monaco; Monegasques and enfants du pays have their own preferential price list, available from Monaco Telecom.
Options: Monaco Telecom TV Premium on Basic €9.99/month; Smart Wi-Fi mesh €10.98/month, each extra access point €5.99/month; Apple TV rental €9.99/month.
Which plan? Basic's 500 Mbps comfortably covers streaming and video calls for a household. The jump to Comfort is mainly about TV Premium and international calls; Comfort+ and Premium make sense for heavy uploaders or large flats where the Premium plan's included Smart Wi-Fi point helps.
Mobile discount: fibre customers pay much less for a Monaco Telecom mobile plan — Live Connected 100 GB falls from €49.99 to €34.99. See mobile plans.
Getting connected
- Go to a shop — 27 boulevard des Moulins (Monte-Carlo, Monday–Friday 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–19:00) or 9 rue du Gabian (Fontvieille, Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00, Saturday 09:00–17:30) — or call +377 99 66 33 00 (daily 08:00–22:00).
- Bring ID, proof of your Monaco address (lease or title deed) and an IBAN for the direct debit.
- Book the activation appointment. Because every building is already on fibre, it is a matter of connecting the box, not of works.
If you are moving in, book as soon as the lease is signed. Electricity, gas and water are separate contracts — see setting up utilities.
Businesses
Monaco Telecom has a separate professional range (fibre, fixed telephony, mobile fleets) handled by its business team. Business internet moved to fibre in July 2024, when copper was switched off for companies.
