How to attend the Monaco Red Cross Gala

Booking a seat

The Gala de la Croix-Rouge monégasque is often described as invitation-only. It is not. Seats are sold, and the route to one runs through Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, which produces the evening with the Croix-Rouge monégasque:

Capacity in the Salle des Étoiles is finite and the gala falls in the busiest fortnight of the Monegasque summer, so the practical constraint is timing rather than access. The date is announced in the spring; book from that point, not in July.

What a seat costs and covers

For the 77th edition, on 18 July 2026, the price was €1,900 per person. That covered:

• the gala dinner
• half a bottle of Grand Cru champagne
• the headline show in the Salle des Étoiles

It did not cover drinks at Jimmy'z Monte-Carlo, where the evening continues after the show. Budget separately for that if you intend to stay.

Prices are set edition by edition. Treat the figure above as the 2026 benchmark and confirm the current rate when you enquire.

Timings

Doors open at 19:45. The running order is dinner, then the tombola, then fireworks fired from the sea, then the show, then the after-party — a long evening that does not finish early. Arriving late is not a discreet option: the Salle des Étoiles seats guests before dinner service begins.

Dress code

Black tie is compulsory — smoking de rigueur for men, long evening gown for women — and it is checked at the door. A dark business suit will not pass. If you are travelling in for the evening, this is the one item worth resolving before anything else; hire options in Monaco during high season are limited. Getting there

The Sporting Monte-Carlo is at 26 avenue Princesse Grace, in Larvotto. Traffic on gala night is heavy and taxis are scarce in Monaco generally; if you are not staying within walking distance, arrange a car in advance rather than relying on finding one. Options are covered in getting around Monaco.
