The Monaco Run is the Principality's main running weekend, held every February and organised by the Fédération Monégasque d'Athlétisme (Monaco Athletics Federation). Over two days it brings together recreational runners, families and international athletes across a range of formats, from a flat urban sprint to a demanding mountain trail.
The races
- 5km — the flagship event, run on a fast, flat course around Port Hercule. Reputed to be among the fastest 5km races in the world, it carries a World Athletics label.
- 10km — two loops through central Monaco, ideal for chasing a personal best.
- 12km City Trail — a punchy route (around 350m of elevation gain) taking in the Principality's iconic staircases, lanes and paths.
- 30km Trail du Mont Agel — the toughest format, with close to 1,500m of climbing on the heights above Monaco.
- 1,000m — a short race open to everyone, perfect for children and first-timers.
- Pink Ribbon Monaco — a charity walk open to all.
