Monaco Economic Board (MEB)
Monaco's chamber of commerce in all but name — a private-law association of 630+ member companies that promotes Monegasque business abroad, issues export documents and runs some 50 events a year. To be renamed Monaco Chamber of Commerce by the end of 2026.
The Monaco Economic Board is the body that plays the role of a chamber of commerce in the Principality. It is not a public agency but a private-law association, working as the operational arm of the Prince's Government for economic promotion, with a board that brings together companies, professional bodies and Government representatives. It has more than 630 member organisations and is chaired by Michel Dotta. On 30 June 2026, at its 57th members' meeting, it announced that it would be renamed Chambre de Commerce de Monaco / Monaco Chamber of Commerce by the end of the year.
There has never been a "Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie" in Monaco; references to one in older guides mean the MEB.
What it does
Promotion abroad. Outbound economic missions with pre-arranged B2B meetings (Montenegro, 13–16 October 2026; Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen in early November 2026), the reception of foreign delegations in Monaco, and partnerships with foreign chambers — Ljubljana in July 2026, the Corsican chamber in September 2026. The MEB joined the Alliance des Patronats Francophones in 2026.
Export formalities. As Monaco's national committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, the MEB issues ATA carnets, certificates of origin, EUR.1 movement certificates and document legalisations, through its online portal formalites-export.com. Paper ATA carnets are being phased out for destinations that accept the digital version.
Events. About 50 a year: the quarterly Rendez-vous des Adhérents, which gathers around 300 decision-makers (58th on 5 October 2026); conferences with economists and with the professional orders; "MEBinar" webinars on foreign markets; export workshops with French Customs; and a partner role at the Monaco Business fair each September and the Club Eco Monaco Awards in December.
Information. A members' directory, a newsletter reaching some 2,500 contacts, radio broadcasts and a Premium members' magazine.
