CAM (Monaco Bus Company)
Public transport operator running the Principality's bus network

The Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM) is the exclusive operator of the Principality's public transport network. It runs six daytime bus lines covering the entire Monegasque territory, from the beaches of Larvotto to the Exotic Garden, two night lines (N1 and N2), and the ClicBus on-demand shuttle.
Who is it for?
All residents, workers and visitors in Monaco can use the CAM network. It is a practical and affordable way to get around the Principality, especially given the limited parking and steep hills between districts. Students benefit from dedicated school bus services, and travel is free for Monaco residents aged 65 and over.
Main services
A single ride costs €1.50 when bought by contactless card or through the Monapass app, or €2 from the driver. Both include free transfers within 30 minutes. A day pass is €5.50 via Monapass, and weekly, monthly and annual subscriptions are also offered. The six daytime lines connect the main hubs: the SNCF railway station, the CHPG hospital, the Fontvieille shopping centre, the Casino and Port Hercule. The N1 and N2 night lines run after 9:30 PM, and the Bateau Bus crosses Port Hercule on the same fare.
Practical tips
Download the CAM mobile app or use Monapass to check real-time schedules, buy tickets and plan trips. Buses generally run from around 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the night lines extending service later. The full fleet is wheelchair-accessible and takes pushchairs. For daily commuters, the annual pass is by far the best value, and seniors aged 65+ can apply for a free travel card from the CAM offices.
