Three points that are commonly reported wrongly
The beneficiary is Monegasque, not international. Funds go to the Croix-Rouge monégasque, founded on 3 March 1948 by Prince Louis II — one of the 191 national societies of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement — not to the ICRC in Geneva.
It is a July event. Not autumn, not spring. The date is announced in the spring for a Saturday in the second half of July.
Tickets are sold. Attendance is not restricted to invited guests; seats, tables and sponsorship packages are all bookable through Monte-Carlo SBM.
