Networking events in Monaco: the 2026–2027 calendar and how to get in

The short version

Monaco's business calendar is small enough to know in full. A dozen recurring fixtures carry most of the useful networking, they cluster between September and June, and they happen in perhaps eight rooms. This page lists them with dates for the 2026–2027 season and says who can get in. The fixtures, one by one

Monaco Business — the fair (September)

The one event where a newcomer can walk in and meet a cross-section of the Principality's companies in a day. Organised by SAM Monaco Communication, with the Monaco Economic Board and the Government as partners, it fills about 1,000 m² of the Sea Club at Le Méridien Beach Plaza with 50-plus exhibitors — banks, law and accounting firms, telecoms, real-estate agencies, the FEDEM syndicates — and draws roughly 1,000 visitors. The day opens with a conference at 08:45 (in 2026: "Security, a pillar of Monaco's prosperity", with Nice-Matin), and the MEB usually uses it to sign a partnership (in 2026, with the Corsican chamber of commerce). Visitor entry is free on registration at monacobusinessexpo.com; exhibiting costs €2,300 to €6,000 excl. VAT for 6 to 18 m².

Rendez-vous des Adhérents — the MEB's quarterly (Oct, Jan, Apr, Jun)

Four times a year the Monaco Economic Board gathers its members for an evening that mixes an institutional address, a guest speaker and a long cocktail: around 300 decision-makers, the Government usually represented, and the single best room in Monaco for meeting company heads. The 57th (30 June 2026) is where the MEB announced its coming renaming as Monaco Chamber of Commerce; the 58th is on 5 October 2026. Members only — Classic membership admits two people per event, Premium up to five.

MEB conferences, MEBinars and delegations (year-round)

Between the quarterlies the MEB runs some 50 events a year: economist briefings (Jean-Pierre Petit on 11 September 2026), technical conferences with the professional orders, export workshops with French Customs, "MEBinar" webinars on foreign markets, and receptions for incoming delegations (a German small-business federation on 9 October 2026). Outbound economic missions — Montenegro in October, China in November 2026 — are the MEB's premium product: a week of B2B meetings arranged in advance, at the participant's cost.

JCEM Pitch Nights and the Concours de Création d'Entreprise (several a year)

The Jeune Chambre Économique de Monaco runs the liveliest evenings for the under-40s: Pitch Nights where founders present to a room and a jury (the third of 2026 is on Wednesday 30 September at 18:30), breakfast conferences, and the annual Concours de Création d'Entreprise, whose Q&A sessions in September help candidates finish their file. MonacoTech calls for projects and pitch days

The incubator at 6 avenue Albert II selects start-ups through periodic calls for projects that end with a shortlist pitching before a jury — seven finalists in the most recent round. The selection days and community events bring investors, lawyers and accountants into the same room as founders; follow monacotech.mc or ask at contact@monacotech.mc to be added to the invitation list.

Trade shows that are really networking weeks

Monaco's big shows are where specific sectors meet: the Monaco Yacht Show (23–26 September 2026) for the maritime cluster and its bankers, brokers and lawyers, preceded by the Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous at the Yacht Club on 20–21 September; Top Marques in spring for automotive and luxury. Around each show the hotels and the Yacht Club fill with invitation-only receptions, and this is where the FEDEM's Chambre Monégasque du Yachting and Chambre du Shipping hold their own events.

Club Eco Monaco Awards (December)

The Club Eco Monaco Awards, held at the Grimaldi Forum on 2 December 2026, close the business year with a ceremony rewarding Monaco companies in several categories; the MEB is a partner. Attendance is by invitation — being a finalist or an MEB member is the usual route.

Service clubs and national associations (weekly to monthly)

The Rotary Club de Monaco meets weekly at Le Méridien Beach Plaza and the Lions Club de Monaco on the second and fourth Thursday of the month; both welcome prospective members as guests of a member before any application. The British Association of Monaco, the Club Suisse de Monaco and the Club des Résidents Étrangers (CREM) each publish a monthly programme of talks and dinners to their members — details in business clubs in Monaco.

The Welcome Office's quarterly meetings for new residents

Not a business event but the best first one: Invest Monaco's Welcome Office holds a quarterly information session at CREM (1 avenue Princesse Grace) for people who have just arrived or are about to — a 45-minute presentation and one-to-one questions in French, English or Italian. How to get invited

• Join something. Almost every good room in Monaco is members-plus-guests. The cheapest tickets in are JCEM (if you qualify by age) and a national association; the most productive for a company is MEB Classic at €700.
• Ask a member to bring you. MEB members can bring guests to most conferences; Rotary and Lions expect it before an application.
• Register early for the open events. Monaco Business, Pitch Nights and MonacoTech days have capped rooms and fill in the last week.
• Respect the season. Nothing useful happens between Bastille Day and the rentrée; September, January and April are when programmes restart.
• Follow up the same week. In a town this small you will see the same people again within a month; a short e-mail the next day is expected.
