Journal de Monaco

The official gazette of the Principality of Monaco, published every Friday by the General Secretariat of the Government.

The Journal de Monaco is the Principality's official gazette, edited by the General Secretariat of the Government and published every Friday (except public holidays) in both print and digital form. It carries the laws, sovereign ordinances, ministerial orders, international treaties and other official texts that only take legal effect once they appear in its pages.

The gazette also publishes legal and commercial notices: entries in the Répertoire du Commerce et de l'Industrie, changes to articles of association, succession announcements, public tenders and administrative notices. Issues are freely available online at journaldemonaco.gouv.mc, where the archive goes back to April 1998.

For companies, lawyers and notaries, the Journal de Monaco is the foundational legal reference: no statutory text becomes enforceable until it has been officially published.
