CHPG

The CHPG (Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace) is Monaco's only public hospital. It runs a 24-hour emergency department, a maternity unit, and covers most medical and surgical specialities, including cardiology, oncology, radiology and orthopaedic surgery. The hospital is named after Princess Grace of Monaco. A multi-phase reconstruction project, the Nouveau CHPG, is underway to deliver modern buildings and updated equipment; the hospital continues to operate normally throughout the works. CHPG accepts CCSS coverage and the main private insurance schemes, and treats both Monaco residents and cross-border workers from neighbouring France.
