Beachfront Mediterranean restaurant on Larvotto Beach with live jazz concerts in summer and private beach service

Monaco — restaurant

Overview

La Note Bleue is a seasonal beachfront restaurant on Larvotto Beach, open from mid-April to mid-October. Named in tribute to jazz saxophonist Barney Wilen, the venue combines contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with live music, feet-in-the-sand dining, and a private beach with sun lounger service. Fully renovated in 2021 for its 20th anniversary, it serves breakfast through dinner daily from approximately 9:00 to 23:00.

Cuisine

Chef Laurent Paya's menu blends Mediterranean flavours with Asian-fusion influences. Expect dishes such as tataki, pad thai, and curries alongside risottos, fresh fish, and truffle pizza. Tapas and shareable platters are also available. A children's menu is offered for under-10s (approximately 15 EUR). Main dishes start from around 26 EUR, with set menus from approximately 35 EUR.

Live Music

From mid-June to end of August, La Note Bleue hosts live concerts featuring jazz, soul, funk, and Brazilian-fusion artists from the international and national scene. Outside the peak concert season, DJs perform in the evenings, maintaining the venue's musical atmosphere throughout the season.

Private Beach

Beyond the restaurant, La Note Bleue operates a private beach section with sun loungers, mattresses, parasols, and towels available for daily rental. Guests can spend the full day on the beach and transition seamlessly to an evening dinner with sea views.
