Cinéma des Beaux-Arts

The Cinéma des Beaux-Arts is the Principality's only permanent cinema. It occupies the Théâtre Princesse Grace building at 12 avenue d'Ostende, on the slope between the Place du Casino and Port Hercule, and is run by Les Cinémas 2 Monaco, the operator that also runs the summer open-air cinema on the Rock.

Screens and programme

Two screens, both equipped for 3D: Salle 1 seats 200 (plus 4 wheelchair spaces) and Salle 2 seats 56 (plus 2). The programme follows the French release calendar, changing on Wednesdays, and each showing is marked VF (dubbed into French) or VO STF (original version with French subtitles). The weekly programme is published as a PDF on the website, where a seat can also be pre-ordered for a specific showing. Listed times are the start of the session; the film starts five to ten minutes later. As of September 2026 the cinema's site notes it is closed on Thursdays.

Prices

Full price €12; reduced €9.50 (Tuesdays and Wednesdays at all showings, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at the first two showings, outside public holidays); under-20s and students €9.50 every day; over-60s €9.50 every day except Sunday; under-12s €7; Carte d'Or holders €6. Long films and 3D each carry a €1 supplement, and 3D glasses cost €1. Multi-ticket cards: 10 for €90, 20 for €170, 10 under-12 tickets for €60.
